SS-Framework Physique #18 The “Core” is “Love”

How desperate we all have been at some point to be deemed appealing. Whether that be emotionally, by evoking endearment . Physically by evoking attention.  Spiritually by arranging alignment. Perfection is out the question but honorability is always possible. One sure thing that adds to physical appeal is a beautiful core. Whether It be a 6 pack, 8 pack, 4 pack most ppl don’t care.  They just don’t want a Keg lol. But when we look at a core. What is it exactly ? Is there more than what meets the eye? Is it more to maintaining it then sit ups,or lying on a cold medal table?

The core is the base of the body. Most people focus on abs and obliques for aesthetic value . But what looks good on the surface may not always be the best for longevity. Those abs and obliques must be trained internally and externally. The external is for face value like a “house” with a huge front door or large rocks in the landscape. The internal is for functionality like a “home” with huge counter tops in the kitchen or a bathroom with a nice deep tub. Having a house is nice but everyone wants a home in the long run.  So how do we make the transition? How do we turn our house into a home?

Well the internal responds best to stability exercises. One most ppl are familiar with is the plank. It can be done anywhere from the kitchen to the gym. From elbows to hands. From finger tips to fist. From both legs straight back to one leg back, one leg kneeling. Well you get the drift. This guarantees grandma stands up straight and keeps good balance. So if she stumbles it ends in laughter instead of a trip to the hospital. For dad this means a life filled with his favorite outdoor activities. Throwing the old pig skin, working on his truck , and lifting weights is still a thing for him. Also many nocturnal indoor activities are still everlasting and high intensity for romantic endeavors . Apart from an active thought maintenance is done in different ways as well. Through proper posture and breathing you can work wonders. Proper breathing means taking “total breaths”. What is a total breath you ask. Breaths with a continuous effort to be felt throughout the entire body. The same way you make a mind-body connection with your muscles when lifting. Instead you are sitting up straight and starting at the feet and filling the entire body with breath.  A sound way to practice this style of breathing is during mediation. It’s a great tool to build mindfulness and enlist “total breaths” consciously and unconsciously.

How great we are in all aspects of our life when we love on our core. How strong and sturdy our frames become. It is a form of self love to make sure your body has what it needs. It makes you appeal more too… well…. You! So try having an everyday conversation with someone you love. But discuss early on that you will remind each other to :

-Sit up straight

-Tighten the lower core

-take total breaths

This type of love and building will last a lifetime.
