Difficulties can arise when confidence is low. Results can rise when discipline is high. First intangible like the seed under the soil. Oblivious to the naked eye. Only yourself and God can enjoy the small victories. To a passer by you are standing still , stuck in your old situation . To you the tables are turning and growing in your favor. You know the quiet magnitude of discipline you place on your plate daily . You know the feast of capabilities you will enjoy in time. But how do you remain motivated with little to no external support ? How do you remain fixed on longevity in a world majority designed for short term gratification and health diminishing feats?
First you have to realize you are in the world not of it. God created the earth. In it he allowed many worlds to be created. All with different customs and in-turn differentiating celestial and materialistic results. Though media may have it that some are better than others, some individuals dwelling inside it more valuable than others. Nothing could be farther from the truth. A man or woman is either walking in divine purpose or not. All is equal in God’s eyes , and materials or skills can not be taken to the after life. All that will remain is one’s impact on society and even that will dissipate over time. Thus leaving man to be an island to himself. Able to set his own standards and derive joy from forward motion in his own passions.
Fuck what the next man thinks of your escapades of growth. It will be filled with successes and failures. If it is positive and feels you with vigor, it is ordained by God. The apple tree does not care who devours its fruit. Whether they all fall to dust or are all consumed it continues to produce. That is its purpose. It will continue to fill that purpose until God calls its return.
Man is an island to himself. A vast land of standards in which he is to set. I recommend setting that standard on growth , consistency , and positivity. As sure as the sun rises over the trees, rise to your daily challenges and duties. Some days clouds of frustration will make it difficult to see and feel your direct impact but know your rising and your actions did not go void. Weather the high winds of discomfort to enjoy the breeze of peace. If daily you have remained untainted and given all you can to your pursuit. What another man feels about your creation means nothing. In those situations your purpose is to create , his choosing is to consume. Your purpose is to emit the greatness god has placed within you. His purpose is to witness. He will tell of the multiplicity of things he has saw. Their imperfections, glories, and failures. You will grow from the things you DO, experience, and weather. Take council from only those whose bodies , minds, and spirit reflect a life of purpose and self reliance . A life of will and divinity.
