SS-INTROSPECT #6 : Reconnect ~> Revive
As we take a step out of our homes and into nature. We take a step away from the world and into the earth. The values and “needs” change tremendously. Survival it self takes on a whole new image. A grassy green pasture has no connection to your blueish green bank account. A running stream is cool and refreshing , whether your “RUNNING IT UP” or not. The separation can bring along revelations that were unforeseen.
If your life is filled with white collar work instead of blue collar; you use your mind way more than your body. The mental dependency gets a relief because nature is much more tangible. You can dervive immediate satisfaction within the first few steps. What some may call god or the universe can reveal untold personal epiphanies. Albert Einstein took a walk daily through the woods of Princeton’s campus…daily. These fortunate moments for us can be unfortunate for the worldly’s agenda. If taken in mass acceptance it can alter the trajectory of the economy. This may be why marketing for the outdoors is misleading. Traditionally it’s publicized as a tool for wealthy anglo-saxons to enjoy a digital detox and exploration. Its necessary gadgets also can be quite expensive. This is misleading because nature is a place that welcomes all. It’s readily available in all cultures, on all continents of the planet. It also can be experienced for free or frugally, depending on knowledge and timeframe. Biophilia is a concept that also helps battle marketing that enlists “fear of death” by wilderness. Biophilia is a deep connection to animals and species in the wild . It is more than your connection to your pet. Well before animal domestication man had a great relationship with animals. This has not left us. You are still more likely to die in your car or home than by grizzly bear attack.
Nature is a place for a solo-person or groups to transcend together. The digital detox combined with the independence necessary for survival creates union. Union between Mother Earth and each other. The commonality amongst people makes nature a place to build. Build physically, mentally, and spiritually no matter your experience length. It is a place to build character. A place not meant to “ruff it” but to smooth things out.
-Outdoors is a place for all cultures to realign with the highest.
-Outdoors is a place to digital detox.
-Out doors is a place not to ruff it, but to smooth things out.
