SS-INTROSPECT #10 : Stimulating Greatness

It's about the little seeds we plant. The little nuggets we drop in our subconscious garden of truth. We could fall victim to the workplace gossip. We could fall victim to barbershop talk. But eventually we all must find balance and peace. The scary part for most is we don't live in a world of balance. We live in a world of constant stimulation. Most times its not aligned with our best self. Its coated in fear, envy, and comparison. As we enjoy a home cooked meal from our loving mother we scroll our timelines. Thoughts begin to seep in. " Karen had a filet tonight. Why the hell am I eating red beans? Am I broke?" Those bullshit thoughts are fed to us by our cellphone and insignificant people around us. I say insignificant because they don't affect our necessities nor do they help build our evolution. So how do we become mindful in all aspects? How do we break away from the bullshit and enter gratitude?

It starts with being present and appreciative of our current situation. Look at what you're eating. Pay attention to the quality and how it adds to your day. Thank the higher power you subscribe to for a quality and gracious meal. Envision how its nutrients will aid you in seeing your plan come into tangible form.  Try to refrain from stimulants like caffeine, tobacco, and alcohol. These stimulants ease your mind but not without some damaging effects. They don't allow you to build resilience and search your inner faculties for ease and resolve.

Most people work hard week-in and week-out. 40-60 hours a week plus family responsibilities is a lot on anyone's plate. Take some time to just relax and sit in the sun. Its power is so great when you look into it , it forces everyone to smile. Sit in silence alone or with family and just be grateful for the space your hard work has allowed. If you don't have friends or family, find like minded people in your community. People that have true appreciation for where and who they are. Spend time with those special people.

One of the BIGGEST KEYS will always be your breathing. Deep smooth breaths through your nose clear your mind, body , and spirit. These are true stress relievers and wellness providers. Meditation is the most well known practice of breathing properly but you can always start and end a prayer with a deep breath. Don't pray? Start and end a positive affirmation about your growth with a deep breath. It allows you to invite life into your body and of course that means god into your life. All things breathe to live. 

Don't concern yourself with the alignment of worldly views. Those are standards too low to compare to your greatness and present situation. Just the fact you're able to read this shows you are a pure miracle. Instead constantly renew your mind with present actions of growth. Controlling your passion will help better your intellect and help you make the best decisions for your life. Decisions you will be grateful for in the long run.
